What is a Geriatric Care Manager?
A Professional Geriatric Care Manager (GCM) is a professional who specializes in assisting older adults and their families in meeting their long term care arrangements. This role is complex and varied.
The Professional GCM may function as an advocate, Liaison, and support system to the client. Often the Professional GCM makes recommendations so the client and his or her family may make informed decisions.
